"Killa" Jay Combs stands up and takes his shades off.
Killa: Fighter, this is a two part question. First, do you have any GM candidates? Two, if not could we maybe, take turns being GM to help lighten the load on you?

Lewis decides that it is his turn to speak up.
Lewis Young: "How will championship contenders be determined? Will we be using the main contenders before the CRF closed, or will there be a new selection of contenders?"

OOC: Do you still have the latest CAWS in your memory card or are will it be required to do new ones? And plus when can we start editing them?

[Omega smiles.]
Omega: Now, I know that the next new CRF Champion is going to be yours truly. I mean, I DID beat Rappier the last time either of us appeared on TV. Any news for vyable contenders?
[OOC: Do the Match restrictions for main events/PPV's still apply?]

Killa Jay & Jake Jones
Draven would be my logical GM choice but he is going to take on a new role. He is going to manage the new superstars as a roster manager.
I believe with this new system that I can handle the GM, since it is only one show a week. There are other people I have thought of as possible GM choices but lets wait and see how things develop first.
Lewis Young
I cannot recall who was a contender for the titles prior to the closing of the CRF. Since I have also closed a lot of other title belts it only makes sense that we have a new contender selection.
Vayne
All the CAWS are alive and well on my memory card. I will be informing every one when they can start requesting changes. More than likely this will happen sometime this week.
Eric Omega
The new system is actually going to limit the matches in a different way. You see, the request system will no longer be in effect. In the past I had to deal with way too many time consuming matches just on regular shows. The GMs really had limited control over the match cards.
The new system is simpler on me. The GM makes a match card based on the promos from the previous week. And at the beginning of the month the GM will post all about the special matches at the PPV event. This system will reward those who promo the most with better matches. And this also saves the best types of matches for PPV events, preventing them from being overused.
Misfits
I will tag with you anytime, however, there is no tag team division or titles anymore. That does not mean we wont have tag matches, it just means that there would not be enough competition to have a decent tag division.

OOC: In regards to people that haven't returned, has any attempt been made to contact people outside of sending an email by using the forums?

The only thing I have tried thus far is using the e-mail on the forums or e-mail that was sent to me in PM. While I hate to lose members I was expecting that a lot of people would probably not return for whatever reason. A lot of times people will find other efeds or things to keep them entertained. Or maybe they just aren't happy with me for closing the CRF in the first place.
My current plan would be to keep the original SvR game that we have always used. I am thinking of evaluating SvR 2008 sometime this week to see if the AI will be good enough for the CRF. In the past the newer games had a lot more to offer players but the AI vs AI was not very good. If the AI vs AI ever passes my standards then I would gladly change to the newer game.

It's great in certain matches (usually the ECW/weapon related matches) but the standard matches are pretty weak (though better than last year). ANd The Ladder Matches still suck a big fat one.

I have not talked to Arc in several weeks. I have talked to LMOP on another site but have not mentioned the return of the CRF just yet. They both seem to be really busy with everything going on so I am not sure if or when they would come back.
I will double check with both of them tomorrow.
