ANNOUNCEMENT OF ERIC OMEGA'S 2007 CRF AWARDS.
What you do is you send me a PM with your votes. For each category, you'll vote for a first place, second place, and third place winner. 'Kay? K.
Note 1: If you were not an active wrestler in CRF during 2007, don't bother voting, as I will NOT count it.
Note 2: Nominees are in no particular order.
-----------------------
Categories and Nominees are as follows:
Best Wrestler: This award goes to the person who had the best balance between Promos and matches.
Nominees:
Ian C. Elms - After becoming the Longest Reigning Judgement Champion, he went on to be the Longest Reigning Mayhem Champion, all in 2007!
Jake Jones - Defending the Carnage Championship against Big Bad John, Eric Omega, Magician, and others, the bulk of Jake's reign as Carnage champion was in early 2007.
Arc - Despite losing a lot, he was Arc, and he was awesome.
Nail - Winning the X-division title three times? That was 2007 for ya.
Dennis Schultz - Judgement Champion, Submission champion. What else is there to say?
Monster - Okay, seriously. Just vote for this guy. Mayhem Heavyweight Champion, first and only person to hold the CRF Tag Titles BY HIMSELF. He defended them too.
T-roc - First CRF Champion? Check. Most successful in 666 Matches? Check. Mayhem Champion? Check. This guys' got it going on.
Eric "The Biker" Omega - Winning against Vayne, Magician, and some other dude in his tenth consecutive PPV victory, beating BGA, L-MoP, and T-roc in a CRF Championship match, and defeating 11 other men in the Warfare leader tournament?
Hulk Hogan - Becoming either the first, or the second (I can't remember) wrestler to hold more than one world title in CRF was probably the height of his career here.
Vayne - Dominated the 666 matches with aplomb. Also a hardcore champ.
Matt Adams' Father - Fighting Eric Omega, and getting destroyed? What fun!
Best Promo-er: This award goes to the wrestler who has the best, consistent quality (Ie, someone who never RPs, but throws out an amazing one every other month won't get nominated) in their Promos.
Nominees:
Ian C. Elms: This guy came to CRF with Amazing Roleplays. He may have slowly decreased in quality since his debut, but he's still good.
Jake Jones: Cocky, confident Jake Jones is a character that CRF knows all too well. However, he did drop off of the face of the earth in the later parts of CRF in 2007
Matt Adams: Annoying? Yes. Self-obsessed? Yes. Way too many nicknames for his own good? Yes. However, whether it was because you laughed at how ridiculous he was, or because you laughed at how unrealistic his RPs were, Matt Adams was arguably among the funniest of Rpers in CRF history.
Booger: What more needs to be said?
Eric "The Biker" Omega: From Fighter-X's firing of him, to his feud with Jake Jones, to pulling out racial slurs on Oleada, Omega's Roleplays, while short, always bring something new to the table.
Arc: From having his office burned down, to his intriguing near-insane Roleplays later one, Arc ruled. End of Story.
Best Championship: This award goes to the title that had the most prestige, the best matches, the best feuds, and the best champions attached to it.
Nominees:
Judgement Heavyweight Championship: This was a bad year for the Judgement Championship. KWB and Matt Adams... Really?
Carnage Heavyweight Championship: Jake Jones, Monster, Darkness all held this title in 2007, and there were some amazing feuds, too. The Monster vs. Darkness call-out video? Enough to make Matt Adams' balls drop.
Mayhem Heavyweight Championship: Pretty much, this title was held by Ice. That's it. Not terrible, but not too great either.
X-Division Championship: Feuds for this title? Inadequate. Matches for this title? Amazing.
Intercontinental Championship(s): Destructo Boy, Gary Howe, Fido, Rappier? Fantastic. Hell, Matt Adams even started a good 6-man feud for the thing.
Training Title: If you vote for this, you suck.
Chaos Title: Good title, bad feuds. Decent matches.
Other: Please specify.
Best Show: This award should go to the best weekly show.
Nominees:
Judgement: If this doesn't get third, I'd consider mass genocide.
Carnage: Matt Adams put a damper on it, but it was always quality entertainment. Especially with eXtinction feuding every other faction that existed.
Mayhem: 666 Matches, titles matches, Execution vs. eXtinction? Fantastic.
Best Angle: This award should go to the best angle of 2007
Nominees:
-Omega is fired, but due to an unexpected GM change, is rehired to Mayhem.
-A branch of eXtinction is started on Mayhem shortly after Draven becomes the new Mayhem GM.
-Magician turns on Jake Jones.
-Matt Adams father is killed, after revealing he and Nail are brothers. Matt then turns on Brother Nail (if this wins, I'll cry).
-Monster vs. Darkness. 'Nuff Said.
-Jake Jones vs. Eric Omega. 'Nuff Said.
-Boris Magnum turns on his Warfare team.
Best Event: This award goes to the best event (pay-per-view or otherwise)
Nominees:
Warfare: It's Warfare. Does anything else need to be said?
Collision 1: Judgement vs. Carnage? Cool
Collision 2: Judgement vs. Mayhem? Cool
Collision 3: Carnage vs. Mayhem? Fantastic!
Resistance: First CRF Championship match? Hellz yeah.
Whichever Carnage PPV Resulted in Matt Adams leaving it: Fantastic event
