Lewis, I agree with you.
Making a judgement about someone without knowing all the facts is in my eyes wrong. I don't know what to belive.
Say he did do it and he killed his wife and his son? Why didn't he kill his other children aswell?
Say he didn't do it? Who would have done it?
I just don't know what to think on the situation but making a call before the evidence is 100% clear is unfair.

Damn i still cant really believe this. I think that it could have been rage from steriods but then it was over a few days and there was possible deliberate thought in between the killing of his wife and the killing of his son. Their bodies also had bibles next to them so its not roid rage cuz there arent really many symptoms that point to it.

A theory that has just come up introduced by Chris Nowinski is concussion induced depression, this was the cause of a NFL line back (i think)'s suicide.
I'm sticking on the fence which also now contains Booker T and Steve Blackman. Let's wait for all the tests to be carried out. If booker thinks its strange and he's known Chris years then its strange.

He did it. It's been confirmed by the police. No one else was able to get into the house. They know that Benoit died after both his wife and then his child. Benoit was sending text messages out so that people would find the bodies. Benoit killed them both. It's pretty clear.

Here's a little thing that I would like everyone to take note. Source: www.wsws.org/articles/2005/mar2005/side-m16.shtmlAn epidemic of murder-suicide in the US 16 March 2005 According to a 2002 report by the Violence Policy Center, at least 662 people died in murder-suicides in the United States over a six-month period the previous year—an average of nearly two murder-suicides each day, every day. Seven states had more than 10 murder-suicides during the study period: Florida (35), California (29) and Texas (29), Pennsylvania (17), New York (14), Virginia (12), and Ohio (11). No more recent figures are available. Due to political pressure from the gun lobby and other right-wing groups, no government agency compiles centralized statistics on either suicides or homicides involving firearms. According to the VPC, however, more US firearm deaths are suicides than homicides (16,599 compared to 10,828 in 1999). [con't] The simple fact that this happened doesn't surprise me. If Murder-Suicide happens twice a day, they all have their own reasons. Until the investigators finish their investigation, there is no reason to speculate, or place blame. I am not a wrestler, nor do I want to be. But I do know what it means to push your body above and beyond it's capabilities. Some of them are taking 'roids', some of them aren't. Next thing you know, an 'incident' happens, and it wasn't either of those guys, it was 'some guy' that felt that this was the only way out. Did Chris Benoit feel this way?? I don't know! Did he do it?? I don't know! (IF he did it)Why did he do it?? I don't know! One more thing, Neither do YOU! There are plenty of family members out there that are not only dealing with this whole mess, but they also have to figure out how to carry-on, and where to go from here. Has anyone here though about the surviving family and friends??

Yeah.... I think they really are the ones suffering with all this situation and based in comments made by wrestlers (some of them close friends) it just even make less sence his actions

I read about it too at wrestleview...double murder and suicide. GOD...such a respected and beloved wrestler...he would probably win the ECW title, and then this?! I can't wait to read the conclusion of the case. I find it odd how you're caring more about the fact that he was going to win the ECW championship then the fact that he killed his family and himself. [\quote] I just felt the need to clarify this for Biker...what i meant by then was he was being given a push, and that was good and so he had no reason to commit suicide. I thought in conclusion, and taking that in consideration, that that was weird for him to commit suicide since a good thing was going to happen to him. Arc is right, and in the other thread i made a similar post, as we need to stop making all these protests. It's very easy to talk about someone when we didn't know what exactly happened. Furthermore we don't know nothing except what we are told, we don't know a thing except for what police has been reporting. When the investigations end and the case is all figured out we can make sure comments and talk about the situation, by then we'll have all the details and all the testimonies. Until then we have no clear knowledge. I'm not trying to justify anything, but i think it's better to know everything before starting to rip on the guy.

My brother used to be on steroids. Never known why but it did affect him but not much, mainly because if he tried anything on me and my other brothers he would be put in his place. Also I have an autistic brother and a partially autistic brother (neither the one that was on steroids) I know how hard life can be. Don't like the description "retardation", its discrimination against them. Hell autistic people are smarter than normal people, they just can't tell us.
The more that is revealed the more i get confused.
His physician has revealed he saw Benoit on friday and that Benoit was his normal self.
Its also been revealed that Benoit did not believe in religion so if he did it why the bibles.
Another fact that makes it sound likely is that its been revealed that Benoit has been getting paranoid over the last year and thats he was over protective of his wife.
Just remembered. Turns out NO bruises on Daniel and both smothering and strangulation cause bruises.

I think the cause of Daniel's death was ashpyxiation with a bag... it also causes no bruises.
