Any CRF superstar who is working on promos for this event will NOT be required to promo here to get a match. Just tell me or Draven that you want to have your character put on auto-pilot and Draven or I will handle it. We cannot put you in any title matches without a promo but we will do what we can to keep your character active. In fact you could even take a break and referee if you so choose.
This way you can devote as much time as you like to working on your promos so that we will have a better chance of winning.
Of course if you still want to promo then that is fine with us too. As Draven mentioned, I really appreciate you guys representing us in this event.

I must admit I am a bit suspicious about these things because often feds use things like this as a recruitment tool. I do not think that is the case here. I was a little worried about that at first, and I'm sure FMW aren't going to complain if people do decide they want to join there. But it certainly seems to getting handled intelligently and maturely, and the guy organising it seems to want to make it an annual or bi-annual thing. And I'm all for cross-pollination, it's not just FMW and its regular associates who are getting to show off what they can do but every fed involved including CRF. Who knows maybe some people will see CRF's promos and decide to check us out. On the subject of other feds, I'm sorry I'm representing another fed - that was the fed which told me about the tournament in the first place though. And I'm happy to do something collaboratively there if anyone wants it, if anyone wants to cameo in my roleplay or have Baby Dogg cameo in theirs.

I agree, I think the advertising works both ways. Actually it has given me an idea for something but I do not know how well it would work out. I was wondering if we hosted something like this but do the opposite. Invite other feds to send a few superstars to compete in our system (the sim and promo combination).
Its just a thought but if there is a fed head out there who is interested in trying it then let me know.

It is a cool idea. I did it with my fed and they loved it. For those of you who do not know, the CRF Invasion of 2006 was sort of similar to this. A lot of members of my fed came over to CRF as part of an Invasion angle. To my surprise most of them stuck with it even though their promos did not affect the matches.
I think it is a good idea to look into but I hope it doesnt put too much work on FX.

First round's done. 39 out of 57 participants roleplayed, which isn't bad at all. Among those who apparently didn't... Jake, Vayne and Nail's opponents! So it seems CRF will get at least three men in the second round by default. Which obviously isn't as fun as beating someone, but not to be sniffed at I suppose. Oh and Jake, a word on your promo.... Baby Dogg is a girl, I think you'll find

Ahahah! I was one of those people. Anyways i'm a little disapointed i feel like i wrote a relatively good promo for nothing lol. But it feels good to have moved to the second round. Congratulations in advance to you Jake and Vayne. I have an impression that the second round will be much more difficult.
