Bad News Allen passed away at 5:30 a.m. this morning in Calgary at the age of 63 from a heart attack. We have no further details. Allan Coage was an Olympic bronze medal winner in judo, started wrestling in Japan and was a legendary heel in Stampede Wrestling in the early 80s. He worked later in WWE as Bad News Brown.

He won a 20-man battle royal at Wrestlemania IV last eliminating Bret Hart, fought Hacksaw Jim Duggan to a double-DQ at Wrestlemania V, and Roddy Piper to a double-countout at Wrestlemania VI. He was also in some Japanese ultimate fighting thing that Fighter-X and I watched once.
