BACKGROUND - Matt Adams grew up on the other side of the globe, in England. He trained from the early age of 7 to become a superstar. His father took him to various wrestling matches as a spectator, and Matt then wrestled in his own matches with his dad by his side at most matches. Then on his 16th birthday in December 2006, Adams managed to fly to America to live his dream. He went to Anchorage, Alaska and trained extremely hard. Then the youngster joined the NWC but Adams disliked it as he didn't think it suited his style. Then just a week later, he signed up with the CRF on the training program.
The GM of Judgment, Arc, gave him this opportunity. Immediatly on his debut in the CRF he made an impact, he picked up a convincing victory over J.A. Jackson, then a few weeks later, he became the youngest ever superstar in the CRF to hold a championship, Adams successfully defeated Ice in a ladder match to win the Training title. Adams then went on a 5 match unbeaten streak and remained unbeaten in 7 matches in one on one competition.
He then joined the Hardcore Uproar as an alliance/faction with Nail, Jake Jones and Gary Howe on 12th April 2007. Jake Jones turned on the Uproar afew weeks later and teamed with Bad Lander. Adams and Nail had a short feud with them in which they ended up winning with a ''brotherly'' victory in a steel cage tag match.
Then at the ''Mania PPV 2007,'' Matt turned on his loyal brother delivering a lethal ''Matt-KO'' to the jaw of Nail and leaving his brother unconscious. This is where the end of the Hardcore Uproar occurred. Matt continued his attacks but Nail unleashed his hardcore style on Adams with a brutal attack of his own. Adams then defeat Nail in a ''3 Stages of Ladders Match.'' Nail got his own back and defeat Adams in a ''Loser Leaves Carnage Match.'' Matt was forced to leave Carnage just before Warfare on 25th June 2007.
Then on 13th July 2007, ''CRF Warfare PPV'' occurred and was the biggest event in CRF history. Matt Adams captained ''Team X-Rated'' in the PPV. His team were unsuccessful in being dominant but did pick pu a few victories. Matt himself lost 3 matches on the night.
On 18th July 2007, Adams returned to Judgment with one thing in mind. The Judgment World Heavyweight Championship. Matt challenged KWB who accepted. Matt then viciously attacked the champ with a ''Matt-KO.'' KWB then returned the favour before Matt attacked KWB again. Then Matt and KWB squared off for the World title in a TLC match on Judgment on 4th August 2007. Matt hit a violent ''Matt-KO'' which was enough to secure the victory and his first World title. On this day, his boyhood dream came true, he became the youngest World Champion in history.
Hopefully Adams' successful career so far will continue.
