Not satisfied with wrestling only part time for the WWE, Hulk Hogan was approached by a man named Draven who asked him to compete in a little known federation called the FAWF. The superstars in the FAWF were unique and they wrestled for charitable causes so Hogan agreed to compete there.
Hogan quickly rose to the top of the FAWF becoming a World Heavyweight Champion on 3 occasions. During his final run it became obvious that the FAWF was in trouble and it seemed like the federation would close. That is when GM Draven introduced Hulk Hogan to Fighter-X, the chairman of the CRF.
Fighter-X had been a big Hogan fan for quite some time. He informed Hogan that he was thinking of acquiring the FAWF and incorporating their superstars in his CRF show. Fighter-X had an agreement with Draven that the CRF would continue to donate to the charitable causes that the FAWF did.
Hogan was unsure about the CRF so he was invited to watch one of their House Shows. To keep his arrival secret Hogan was brought in disguise and would watch the show from a private viewing area. Hogan loved what he saw in the CRF and it reminded him of his glory days in the WWE. Hogan soon signed with the CRF and came over with other FAWF superstars in a special Invasion House Show. Here Hogan would team up with FAWF Intercontinental Champion Heartbreaker and FAWF Hardcore Champion Mindless. The trio competed against the current CRF Heavyweight Champion Misfits, CRF Intercontinental Champion Arc, and CRF Hardcore Champion Bone Crusher.
While the FAWF lost the main event match it was clear that the superstars made a lasting impression on the CRF fans.
Within the CRF Hogan would continue to make a name for himself. His first big feud was with another newcomer to the CRF named Monster. Monster was extremely powerful and appeared to be unstoppable. After defeating Diablo in a Hell in the Cell Match, Hogan would be thrown off the cell by Monster. Hogan was sent to recover in a hospital only to be attacked once again by the unstoppable beast. Finally Hogan faced Monster at the Rampage PPV for Mayhem on 6/27/2006. In an unbelievable match up, Hogan became the first CRF superstar to defeat Monster. Hulkamania had found its way into the CRF and the fans loved it.
Hogan would then go on to feud with such CRF greats as Magician, Diablo, and T-Roc. After a long successful run on Mayhem he has since moved on to Judgement. Whatever the future holds for him it is clear that Hulkamania is alive and running wild here in the CRF.
