Background: Nail came from Portugal a few years ago and was trained by some big names in hardcore like Dreamer, Sabu and Sandman, taking lots of insane bumps that gave lots of endurance.
The reason why he came was due to the lack of respect that wrestlers showed concerning his origins.
Furious about this, Nail decided to prove to everybody that Portugal can be in the bussiness too, and he is going to prove it in the most brutal form possible.
History
Nail came to CRF in August of 2006. He was angry for not being given respect as a wrestler from Portugal, so he decided to give other wrestlers a painfull lesson in hardcore wrestling. After being trained by Tommy Dreamer, Sandman and Sabu he went to have his first match and win against Zappa Omega. From that match he went undefeated in Judgement and the training division, winning the graduation tournament against several other trainees.
After this period on Judgement he was hired to wrestle on Carnage, and became a member of The Revolution, a faction that wanted to eliminate certain wrestlers, Nail, Biker, and several other names on CRF disbanded The Revolution after it's leader Thor left. After that then went to fight solo. Nail's first loss came on the Aniversary Show after being the last wrestler eliminated by Rappier. After his first loss he quickly came back and won a match against Draven. He started a feud against Jake Jones, demanding his respect and went on the have a series of brutal confrontations, never managing to actually fight against him, this feud led him to fight Magician, the leader of the RuffRyders, the faction Jake belonged to, and Nail lost, inspite of that the confrontations continued.
Following a series of wins and losses he got his first shot at the Hardcore title at the King of Hardcore tournament and lost against the Champion. After three more failed attempts at the Hardcore title he decided to stop his quest and perfect himself in the X-Division a newly fromed title. He won that title against Smokey and Test, and became the first ever CRF X-Division champion.
Quickly after that Nail got a shot at fighting Jake Jones and lost, culminating the feud.
Before these matches Nail got to fight against some big names of CRF and won against Fighter-X himself, the Chairman of CRF, Darkness, a 3 time Hardcore champion, and others.
Nail's mentor The Sandman came to CRF and they decided to form a new faction against the other factions that dominated Carnage. The faction was named The Hardcore Uproar, and both decided to teach a lesson to a lot of posers calling themselves wrestlers.
After a series of confrontations against Palau, during wich he lost the X-title to him, Nail became a second time X-Division champion when he defeated Palau for the title.
Nail lost the X-division title a month and a half later to Goliath. Meanwhile Sandman left the CRF and Nail was left alone the only member of the Hardcore Uproar, he went to have auditions and his former Nemesis Jake Jones joined him as Matt Adams and Gary Howe. A couple of weeks later and after the Apocalypse shows Jake Jones betrayed Nail and the other members of the Uproar.
After a shocking revelation, Nail came to learn that Matt Adams was his brother, the two brothers and Gary went on to continue belonging as members of the Hardcore Uproar. And then their father died.
Following another loss against Jake Jones and Bad Lander with the help of his brother, Nail won a contendership for the CRF title against Darkness and Fido. After failing to win the CRF title Nail managed to win against Bad Lander and his nemesis Jake Jones with the help of his brother Matt Adams. However after the match Matt Adams attacked viciously his elder brother and Nail was forced to end the Hardcore Uproar. After weeks of attacks, wich sent Nail to the hospital, Nail returned more violent than ever and was able to defeat his brother in a loser leaves Carnage match, dooming his brother to another show. Nail remained at Carnage.
Throughout this entire time Nail and Darkness allways attacked verbally eachother and fought on at least half a dozen ocasions over time and on different kinds of matches to decide who was more Hardcore, the 3x champion or Nail, their rivalry never got resolved as they splitted wins over their feud.
After his feud with his brother the major Warfare event came and Nail led his own team, Team Hardcore, into battle. During this period of time a brief rivalry between Nail and Eric Omega started, both men ripping at eachother and vowing to win the leaders competition at the major event. Coming off short in the finals, due to Eric Omega winning it, he went back to the X-Division and won the title for a third time in less than 3 minutes against Goliath. This win proved to be record setting in the division. After a couple of weeks CRF closed it's doors and Nail became the last ever champion of that division.
Remaining loyal to CRF Nail never truly believed in the closing of the federation and waited patiently for a ressurection. With CRF coming back again, Nail couldn't believe what he was experiencing and now expects to keep making and impact.
At the return of CRF Nail made peace with former rival Darkness and with Magician and Andy Anderson the four fighters formed the new and improved Bloodbath, a group that consists in the most Hardcore and violent stars of CRF.
Since CRF came back Nail was undefeated in the first 4 shows and on the Mayhem show of 27th April 2008 Nail fullfilled his life long dream of becoming the CRF Hardcore champion by beating Egon, chashing in his title shot. Sadly his reign didn't even last a full month as Nail was attacked by Darkness and the title had to be vacated on the 25th of May 2008. Darkness's attack revealed the heel turn from the entire Bloodbath faction who began to mock Nail for being in a coma due to not being Hardcore enough.
One week after Nail's goth sister Ammit debuted on CRF, beating the entire faction of BTY Ammit fought several matches in CRF but eventually left the federation after a couple of months because Nail made his return.
Returning after his coma and to the ring after some personal questioning about his career, Nail returned on the Judgement show of 08/10/08 after crushing Darkness's plans of holding a funeral for Nail. After attacking Darkness at that time both went on to fight a match and then met again at the Bloodlust PPV to fight for the Carnage World Championship. Nail defeated Darkness and won the title, thus ending a more than a year long reign, by beating him in the first ever Gauntlet match. A month later he lost the belt to Darkness in a match that meant everything for both of them. After that event Nail decided to form a team for an upcoming event but also lost.
In the beggining of 2009 Nail decided to reform the Hardcore Uproar, this time with Baby Dogg and Hardcore Harry by his side. The reformed faction achieved a few good moments with Baby Dogg and Hardcore Harry in great form. Things however looked pretty bad for Nail, not only he lost the chance to fight Vayne for the Carnage title, he also lost his contract with it now being in the possession of Vayne and Jake Jones, two of his greatest rivals in this stage of his career. Being subjected to humiliations and having to face his team members he continued to lose.
Something big then happened in CRF, Fighter-X got fired by Draven and Draven began to take control of CRF wanting to reform the entire federation by removing the supporters of Fighter-X. Nail was one of the first to rebel against Draven, and suffered more defeats in the process. With now 9 defeats in a row Nail was nominated captain of the team that would defend CRF's honor and Fighter-X's side against the team of Draven. In a long, hard fought match Nail survived more than an hour in the ring and eliminated 3 members of the opposing team being the last man standing and the winner for his team.
Shortly after that Nail pushed his luck and attacked the owners of his contract, giving a chair shot to Jake Jones. Just like that Vayne made Nail retire since he was still in the possession of Nail's contract.
With his active career being over Nail began his work as a manager, leading the Hardcore Uproar and helping other members that want to bring Fighter-X back. During this period of time Nail also began promoting his products, advertising everything that he could get his hands on, shamelessly plugging every single one of his brand new products on television.
After four months in retirement and performing several roles for the CRF Nail returned at Armageddon, an event that featured the return of several former CRF stars, as a Special Guest Referee in a match where the chairman position of CRF was on the line. Nail shockingly sided with Draven, betraying the one person he fought for all along: Fighter-X. At the following Carnage Baby Dogg decided to leave the Hardcore Uproar and gave Nail a super kick.
