The scene starts in a nice, somewhat luxurious, locker room. One wall is filled with trophies from many different sports: soccer, racing cars... and of course, wrestling. Another wall has a small bar, with a good variety of alcoholic drinks. Near a corner there is a stairway to the upper floor. On another corner we see a quite large punching bag, with a photo of a well known superstar, Eric Omega, stuck on it. the floor is completely covered with an expensive carpet. In the middle of the room there is a couch, faced to a big screen TV, with a small round glass table between them. Rappier is sitting on the couch, talking on the phone.
Hi! Listen, I just wanted to thank you for weakening Omega for me. I know... it cost you the Judgement World Heavyweight Championship later on, but you don't need to worry about that. Gary is a calamity... I don't know Howe on earth did that guy win, even considering that you were extremely tired. If he was in coma, I couldn't tell the difference, just so you know how skillful he seems to me. And what's with the mustache? Man...
Oh yeah, and the other brainless idiot... don't know the name. The one from Joke's faction. That guy is as famous here as what I just flushed down the toilet, and he thinks he has the right to get a title shot in the Pay Per View? Fighter-X shouldn't allow this. I think he should be more severe about that. You should tell him that.
But anyways... the title is yours. Just keep focused and they won't stand a chance against the Pure Superstar.
Ok, see you later. Keep in touch.
Rappier hangs of the phone and puts it in the table in front of him. He turns on the TV and watches a bit of Channel X. His expression changes instantaneously. He now has a determined look, focusing on the big screen. He's now seeing Eric Omega, talking about the CRF Legacy he claims to be of his responsibility. The names he has made famous... the people that were nothing before his interference in their lives.
Rappier turns off the TV and gets up. He walks slowly to the punching bag and stares at his rival's photograph. He knows he must outstand himself to beat him, in his first title defense. The nightmares he's been having lately come to his mind. It seems that the odds are against him.
This time... this time it'll be different.
A smile appears on his face. He now remembers how he beat Ice, Omega's predilect. He feels like he's ready for it. He managed to end his losing streak against an opponent chosen by his rival. That has really given him the confidence he needed.
This time, the victory will be mine.
Eric Omega is the greatest challenge that he has faced. No one has ever made him tap out, except Omega. No one has beaten him 3 times without payback.
Rappier gets a drink from the bar. After two cups, he throws the glass onto the floor, which breaks into tiny pieces.
OMEGA! I WILL KILL YOU IF I MUST! THIS MATCH WILL END YOUR CAREER!
He sits again on the couch, his eyes closed, thinking about the previous matches, trying to spot a weakness on the enemy. After a few minutes, still nothing comes to his mind, and he gets frustrated. He turns on the TV again, but now he's seeing the match he recorded of Vayne and Eric Omega. He watches it about 3 times.
The fists are good, the feet also... but the body... that Triple H bad butt wanna be has a weak body. Vayne beat him by making the body suffer, not the head like I tried to.
He laughs as he lies down on the couch, his hands on the back of the head, and looking at the ceiling.
That's what I have to do...
Rappier now focuses about the match type... the Caged Heat Match: a best out of three Hell in a Cell. How much more violent could it get? What will happen to both wrestlers after the bell rings? He knows that the chances of both men having severe injuries are very high, but that is not what matters for him. He wants the victory, even if it implies putting his life at risk. After all, that's his profession, and what he likes to do...
