The show opened with the VIP lounge. Jeff was announced as the guest and the fans went wild. Both Hardys are way over in Philly. The promo was great...a lot of intensity as MVP ripped Hardy apart. Although, there was no Dr. Phil.
The Benjamin and Wang Yang match was quick. Shelton was heavily booed.
Festus was over as usual. Festus dominated. The bell rang and FINALLY someone attacks Festus while in his weird state. Hawkins and Ryder gave Festus a Double DDT.
The crowd was dead for Kozlov and Richards. Richards got a huge reaction though, considering he's Philly's own.
The Biggest Party of the Summer Battle Royal was next, and Jeff was heavily favored. Khali was down most of the match after Big Show gave him a clothesline. Jeff eliminated MVP, Big Show eliminated Umaga and then Kennedy. Jeff went to the top and Show caught him and Jeff sent him over the top with a hurricanrana. Great spot. Khali drew a lot of heat when he tossed Jeff over.
Triple H came out to a huge pop. Khali retreated to the back and the Game worked the crowd.
McCool came out with that horrific title and squashed Maryse.
Maria's music hit after a commercial break and the crowd went nuts! We thought we were getting Maria but it flashed "Next week".
Kendrick is really bad on the mic. He said he was the most intelligent, best trained and best looking wrestler. Back and forth match. Kendrick won. Yawn.
Edge came out next, to easily the most heat of the night. He called Vickie out and Neely and Chavo wheeled her out. Funny stuff when Edge said "what you didn't see was me trying to tell her no. She's really aggressive." They hug and then Vickie says "well, while I was really, really mad at you I did something I don't think you'll like." Edge looked confused and then Vickie says "I reinstated the Undertaker."
Biggest pop of the night for that. The fans went into the huge Taker chant which made the promo hard to hear. Edge said "This is good business. Taker and Triple H could take each other apart and then I can face who wins." Vickie then said "No, baby. The Undertaker already has an opponent for Summerslam." Edge asks who and Vickie says "You. And its HELL IN A CELL."
Vickie goes to leave and then she makes Triple H vs. Edge in a Philadelphia Street Fight for the WWE Championship. I think it could be televised because Foley and JR were still announcing. Great stuff.

Triple H avoided the Conchairto. Edge reversed a Pedigree attempt into a DDT. HHH picked up the win after a sledgehammer to Edge's face.
Edge got on the mic and said No matter what's thrown at him, including JR, and no matter how many sledgehammers he's hit with, he will always love his wife, Victoria Guerrero. He then stumbled out of the ring as Justin Roberts thanked us for coming.
