Inside the CRF Production Room
The scene opens showing one of the video monitors that the CRF uses to broadcast its events. The monitor is playing the last few minutes of the match on Carnage between Eric Omega and Adam Matthews. Eric Omega's hand is raised and the video pauses. The video rewinds a few minutes before at he point where Adam Matthews lands the A-Hole and pins Eric Omega for a 2 count. The video resumes playing the match to the end where Eric Omega pins Adam Matthews. Once again it pauses and rewinds back to the previous spot. After four times of this a familiar voice speaks up.
Adam Matthews: "I knew it. That is the very same referee that handled the CRF title match at Inferno. I forget his name but we all know he is on Eric Omega's little payroll. That explains why he slow counted my pin on Omega but then fast counted me."
The camera pans out from the video to show Adam Matthews. He is holding a remote in his hand and is sitting across from the TV monitor. He is wearing his casual attire, a green polo shirt and tan khaki pants.
Adam Matthews: "I should have seen that coming. Congratulations Eric Omega, you knew you could not beat me fairly so you used your referee buddy to do it."
Adam Matthews tosses the remote at the TV monitor and it cracks the glass. Some of the glass shatters and falls to the floor as Adam stands up and shakes his head.
Adam Matthews: "I promise I will not be caught off guard once again. "
Adam Matthews turns to face the camera.
Adam Matthews: "Now that I am through with that insignificant distraction it is time for me to get down to business. As I said before I am not here to continue to get screwed in matches by talentless hacks like Eric Omega. I am here because I deserve to win a championship title. Now Rappier I heard your little challenge last week. To be honest, I was not going to accept it because everyone already knows I am far superior to you in every way. But after Carnage I realize that you guys do have one thing I do not. You have biased referees on your side to help you win matches."
Adam Matthews claps his hands together as if he is congratulating them. He takes a step forward and you hear a crunch sound as he steps on some of the broken glass.
Adam Matthews: "What you do not realize is now I am on to your little game. As the smartest person in this entire arena I have already formulated plans to deal with this minor setback. Regarding your little challenge I have decided to accept after all. You go ahead and pick any opponent you like for me. I guarantee I will defeat them in that ring, even if your referee buddy is calling the match."
Adam Matthews reaches down and pulls up a piece of broken glass. He holds it up to the camera so it can zoom in on it.
Adam Matthews: "When I am done with Rappier he will have one thing in common with this piece of glass here. He will be broken."
Adam Matthews throws the piece of glass to the ground. He shoves the camera out of his way and then heads out of the production room.
TBC anyone
