I apologise in advance for any offence but I've had a bad week due to an incident that happened on Monday.
As you all know I help out with the SJMW promotion that occasionally shows near me. I'm good friends with the owner and he asked me to job to a rookie he had recently found. I was ok with it. During the match I received a chokeslam and then he placed a chair on my groin and went to bounce off the ropes. I rolled out of the way and then he started having a go at me. I told him that I didn't want to take the shot and he said that the owner said I was ok with taking it.
I know it seems cowardly but after all my operations I don't have a high threshold for pain. I will take chair shots to the head, chokeslamed through tables and other things but I do have a line. I respect wrestlers who take hits but I believe wrestlers should only do what they are comfortable with.
The incident has damaged the friendship between me and the owner and I don't plan on helping out again but I am grateful for the rookie willing to work around it.

It's understandable. One of the things i hate about people is when they take advantage of the good will of others.

I think you made the right call. There is no need to kill someone just for a little more ratings.

Absolutely. If he wanted dangerous bumps like that in the match, he should have talked it out beforehand and found someone who was comfortable with doing it.
Bad form on the rookie for getting annoyed about it. The show must go on.

Actually, if I understand the situation correctly, the rookie was under the impression that the spot had been cleared with Minarin by the owner. Then, after their breif go, the rookie was willing to work around it. If anything, bad form on the owner.

Ah - I may have misinterpreted Minarin's post. Sorry.
