A pre-recorded video begins to play out on the titan tron. It begins by showing Fighter-X sitting down in a chair looking at the camera. He appears to be talking to himself.
Armageddon.....My night.....My time to shine......Superstars risked their careers to support me....The plan which was set in motion so long ago was about to come together. Everything seemed perfect, almost too perfect.....Feeding off the energy of the fans and gaining strength from my supporters there was no way I could lose...
There is a strange and sudden pause.
...Or so I thought. All it took was one simple detail....One thing I overlooked in my careful planning....They say the devil is in the details....The devil it seems got the best of me.. I lost everything in one night..... The night that I will never forget for the rest of my days...
Fighter-X struggles to hold back his emotions as he continues.
To my fans, my supporters, my friends, and everyone else. I must apologize for Armageddon. I've let you all down and even more importantly, I let myself down...I am simply a man who has nothing left to lose....I must accept the fact that Armageddon was indeed the end of Fighter-X ....
Fighter-X stands to his feet and hangs his head in what seems to be a silent moment of prayer.
Well, to some extent that is....
Suddenly his expression changes from one of sorrow to one of anger. His eyes are burning with a fire that has not been seen since he fought against Eric Omega. He glares into the camera and kicks the chair he was sitting in, sending it flying.
You see what Nail and Draven have done is to create something they will soon regret. You two are about to find out why a man with nothing to lose is indeed the most dangerous thing you could ever face. This is no longer about Fighter-X the wrestler or Fighter-X the GM or Fighter-X the CRF Chairman. No, this is about the man behind all of that, the true Fighter-X. For too long the distractions of running the CRF have taken their toll on my performance as a wrestler. All of that is about to change.
Fighter-X reaches for something off camera and grabs it with his arm. He pulls it in front of the camera to reveal that it is a sledge hammer. The name Fighter-X is engraved on the handle. The camera pans back and reveals a large nail standing up in the concrete floor. Fighter-X brings the hammer down on it with all his might and drives it into the concrete in one swing. The impact makes an almost deafening ring. Fighter-X drops the hammer and looks back into the camera.
Do you think I care what happens to my salary?
Do you think I care if I have to fight every single person in the CRF each and every week?
Do you think I really care about my own safety?
Do you think I care about anything right now?
The answer is a solid HELL NO. You see Fighter-X is coming for you Nail and you Draven. But this Fighter-X is not the one you have fought in the past. This is the old school Fighter-X who made his living by doing one thing no one else has done. I made damn sure that my opponent was always in a far worse condition than myself. Wins and losses mean nothing. The pain is everything. Nail, Draven, and anyone else who may support them heed my warning right now.
Fighter-X pauses a moment and then repeats a phrase that his fans have not heard in a long, long time.
Your nightmare is about to begin.
The video ends.
TBC anyone
