[We open up in a dark theatre. There is a stage, and rows upon rows of chairs. Red velvet curtains line the sides of the stage, and in the center, we see an upright piano. Sitting at the bench is Eric Omega, tinkering with chord progressions. He’s focusing mainly on B Major, which is strange, because B Major is difficult to finger, and sounds like crap. But hey, whatever. He continues playing through his speech, his piano getting louder and quieter as he does.]
Omega: It’s strange, that even long after I’ve been gone, some seem to remember me for failing to beat eXtinction. Some remember me for stepping on their toes for years. Others remember me for my in-ring ability, and not my personality. But no one remembers me for who I was, and who I am. Some people tell me things that they think they know about me. But observation clearly dictates that they are wrong. People like Gary Howe, who converts to the side of Fighter-X when he sees that IU am aligned there, and that Ice is as well. Yet, I’ve made it clear that I am not of Fighter-X’s side. I’m not on Draven’s side. I am on the side of what’s best for CRF, which is something that neither group seems to have any interest in. And Ice? I didn’t know he was returning to CRF either. He didn’t “tag along” with me. It was mere coincidence.
But that isn’t the beginning of CRF’s misunderstanding’s of me and my motives. And I doubt it’ll be the last. See, Nail, also, has pontificated like a fool about what I’m doing in my return, who I am and why I’m here. Nail, everything I am, everything I’ve ever done, I did for CRF. When I first joined, I transferred to Judgement, because that’s where CRF needed a name like me. And later, despite being the Judgement Champion, I switched to Carnage, because CRF needed me to defeat Jake Jones. And when T-roc and I faced each other for the CRF Championship, I lost. Because that’s what CRF needed. And when CRF returned from Hiatus, I formed Execution and faced off against Fighter-X, because CRF needed someone to hate. Someone they could watch face off against their hero, and ultimately fail. And when I accomplished that, I foresaw that CRF no longer needed me, nor I it. And so I left. And I watched CRF fall into chaos.
See, despite the fact that I have no REAL power behind the scenes at CRF, I’ve always been in control, to an extent. My actions were powerful, and every word that I spoke sent a ripple effect through the waters of this company. I slowly found out that, because of how much water I drew here in CRF, that I could effectively change the entire course of the company with a few subtle moves. And that’s what I did. And I did what I did for the good of CRF. CRF NEEDS a power-hungry selfish character at the top, to serve as an indicator of whether or not you’ve made it. And that indicator is me.
So congratulations, Nail, you’ve finally made it. After all of your worthless accomplishments, your petty feuding with Darkness, your advocacy of the Hardcore Style of Wrestling, your success in the Training Division at Judgement, you’ve finally stirred the pot enough to be noticed by Eric Omega. And now, we’re about to find out if you’re qualified to make it. And based on your words, it doesn’t seem like you are. You’re as misguided and confused as the day that you walked in here. You lack the fundamental understanding of what control REALLY means. Well, here’s a lesson for you: To control a person, you must know what he wants. You think I want CRF to revert. NO! I told you months ago when I was underneath a mask that CRF needed change. Just not this change. I’m not here to revert CRF to the way it used to be. I’m here to mark a new era of CRF. And I’m here to make sure what’s done to this company is what’s best for the company, and for the people that watch this product. Whether it be beating you, o Destroying Jake Jones, or changing Draven’s mindset, or breaking up the Icy Bikers… I WILL DO WHAT IS NECESSARY TO ENSURE THAT CRF REMAINS ON TOP!
[Omega draws a breath, and brings his progression to a soft end that coincides with his own.]
Omega: And if you can’t understand that, then you, Nail, are truly lost. Good luck this week. I’ll see you at Carnage.
[And with this conclusion, the scene fades to black.]
