The scene opens inside room that is completely empty except for a folding chair in the center. The only light source is a small light bulb dangling from the ceiling, directly above the empty chair. The camera remains focused on the chair as Fighter-X enters the room and sits down. He reaches across at the camera and re-positions it slightly so that it is focusd on his face. He then stares into the camera to deliver yet another message to whoever will listen.
Nail....I must admit you are very good at delaying the unavoidable. First you have Draven put me in matches against other people and then this week you decide to play the old stable game and take on some of my friends. I suppose you think if you keep stalling that somehow I will just go away and leave you alone.
Fighter-X grabs his head in his hand and rubs his forehead a little before continuing.
Nail this is not some sort of typical scripted drama that usually takes place here in the CRF. You are looking at the man with nothing to lose who has decided enough is enough. You are looking at the most dangerous opponent you will ever face in your entire wrestling career. You are looking at the man who will gladly end his own career if it means sending you to the hospital, or even worse. The only guarantee at this point is that both of us will never be the same. We are both on a collision course with no hope of turning around. I am not going away and I am not going anywhere.
Fighter-X grins.
Now you know Draven is holding this whole contract thing over my head. He keeps reminding me of who is in charge as if somehow that matters anymore. The only thing he can do is attempt to control what happens inside that ring, and that is under the assumption that I somehow care about all of that.
Fighter-X grabs his head again and rubs his temples.
All I have on my mind is how many different ways to make sure your sufffering exceeds my own. Eventually you and I will settle this thing whether it is in the ring or out on the street somewhere. Neither of us is going to come out of this thing unharmed, I know that. I expect that. I am just making sure you are the one who will need the ambulance.
Fighter-X takes the camera and pans it around the empty room a bit. The walls are painted white but are very dirty and it is hard to see anything other than shadows from the chair. he then returns the camera back so it is focusing on his face.
You see I have been conditioning myself for that moment in ways you could never understand. The longer you drag this out the more prepared I will be. If you were wise you would cut out all the scripted stuff and get this over with. Then again maybe you have the wisdom but lack the courage to accept your fate.
Fighter-X reaches up and pulls on the string hanging from the light bulb leaving everything in complete darkness. The camera fades out to the sound of eerie laughter.
