Ok...before i write down this collumn, i think that i'm going to stop for a while. Why? Because these next weeks i need to write down a couple of 25 page essays, that's right two essays to do, and time is running short on me to actaully reflect on wrestling and give my review in proper conditions.
Also i haven't been on top shape lately, and i crave for a rest that i won't have soon. Plus i need to prepare a class and in the few days i have a mid-term exam, and i can't forget that in about a month or so i'll have 5 more exams.
I'm sorry to do this but this review will be very thin on ideas, and will be the last one in the next month or so until i can get everything straight, being Nail and being myself already takes too much of my time, so alltough i'll continue to post here as Nail, the hardcore wrestler, and make some small comments, the column will cease to exist for now.
Now let's talk about CM Punk joining the New Breed.
I expected it, but it still was a shocker. They are using Punk greatly now, and i feel Burke will soon leave for either Raw or Smackdown. Punk going for leadership is shaking things up on ECW. Another thing i liked to see was the originals using dirty tactics, it was about time, and i feel this will be a future nightmare for the New Breed. Sabu being left out also left me curious...will he continue out and the originals call for someone else ( thinking Foley ), or will it remain the same?
Nice twist, very nice indeed.
The Hardys were due a title, individually matt or jeff are not that good, and it's great to see them holding those belts. I'm guessing they'll hold them for a very long time...however i would like to see a more brawler tipe of tag team in the division, it could be great to add that to the mix.
On a side note...finally Spanky and London lost the belts!! I was getting sick of them. Deuce and Domino are good for a change, and alltough some people may not like the gimmick...i kinda like it.
Also...Umaga lost the belt to the italian guy and thank god for that. The intercontinental belt was being tremendously underused, much like the ECW belt...For god's sake put anybody on ECFW fighting for th ECW belt!!! Lashley won't make it at Backlash, i'm sure of that. So the main question is: who will??
That's it for my column, as i told you i don't have the time, right now i got to study for the exam i'm having on monday.
But i promise you this: the column is NOT dead, merely sleeping...
