Perfection
From: Robbinsdale, Minnesota
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 260 lbs.
Age: 35
Finishing Moves: Perfect Plex
Factions (Past and Present): None
Other Gimmicks: None
Titles / Awards: CRF Legend
Background: Stan Hensen began wrestling for an independent federation and gained some popularity because of his looks. Many people noticed how much he resembled the WWF superstar Curt Hennig, aka Mr. Perfect. Stan tried for years to separate himself from becoming what many people already thought he was, another Mr. Perfect.
After Curt Hennig died, the UIWF where Stan was competing managed to purchase the rights to the name Mr. Perfect from the WWF. Stan was asked to compete under this gimmick and did so for many years before leaving that federation and joining the FAWF.
The FAWF decided to keep the Mr. Perfect gimmick as Stan was quickly drawing heat from the fans over it. Shortly after joining the FAWF they merged with the CRF. His contract carried over and he would compete as Mr. Perfect up until his old contract expired. He would continue to play the role and managed to draw even more heat with the CRF fans. Stan enjoyed the gimmick of claiming to be perfect however he just did not want to pretend to be Curt Hennig anymore. Stan wanted to be remembered for who he was, not who he was pretending to be.
In March 2007 when it was time to renew his CRF contract, he asked the CRF if he could make some changes. Stan was surprised when CRF Chairman, Fighter-X, agreed without hesitation. Apparently the CRF felt it was more original for Stan to be himself and thought the change would be good for his career.
Now Stan continues to make his name known in the CRF, but this time he will be known as Perfection.
