Our goal here is to prevent some controversy up front. So allow me to explain some of the things we chose to do. I realize a lot of people are ranked the same but that was to make it simple on our part. In reality we know that some people are higher than where they should be and some are probably lower. It was simply too complicated to try and rank everyone and still get the system up and running. I have a feeling things will even out in the long run. We will be evaluating this list and it will be updated on a weekly basis. I am sure we may have left someone off the list. If you see that please let us know. We decided that all current CRF Legends and Hall of Famers would be rated at 91 based on their contributions. All others were rated based on when they joined and what the rules were at that time (i.e. what titles they were eligible to win at that time). Remember this is still in a trial form and there will be more to come. Drops due to inactivity will start to take effect after Carnage. This looks good, i was a little surprised how even things were but then i read the description. Over time the ranks will define better who should challenge for what and all that.

I know I'm a bit late, but I just wanted to give my opinion about it.
The Rating System is awesome, as I have already told Fighter-X. However, I'd like to give an opinion/suggestion. I understand why the Ratings are as they are written above, but I think they are already too high. Of course that all CRF Legends and Hall of Famers can compete for the CRF Championship as stipulated, (and that's why they all have 91) but I think this Rating System could make it different. Why not make the Rating for Hall of Famers somewhat lower, and force them to make great promos in order to be able to reach the +90, and consequently compete for the top title?
This is just because I think currently there are only a few guys here that deserve to fight for it. I see most of us in between 71-81. I know that the past should also count, but starting with such high ratings won't have the same effect as lowering them a bit (the lower mine is, the more I might work to make it higher. And other people might think the same). Also, I believe that 91 might be the target of most of us. So if we can already do everything in the beginning, it might not have the same fun. This is just what I think of the Ratings. Keep in mind that I don't disagree with them. I just thought that you could use them for even more purposes.
I also wanted to ask how often will it be updated. Is it weekly, so that we may always be aware of what we've done? Or will it be monthly, perhaps after a PPV, so that we (and you) can better judge each one's efforts throughout the month? (this last one could help judging feuds)
Another thing I wanted to ask is how do we go up one rank. Will you consider the conditions from the rank above, the rank below, or will it need something more? For example: someone has a rating of 90. To be a Main Eventer, he needs one more point. Will that point be awarded with good or exceptional promos (as it is in the current rank) or will it be already awarded only with an exceptional promo? Or have you thought of something more for a rank promotion?

I understand where Rappier is coming from. FX and I had a lot of trouble agreeing on where people should end up. But keep in mind that we are planning on having some new and exciting matches that will cost points to enter. So while you are 91 now you may end up below that if you sign up for the match. So in a way things could even out.
I believe I am going to handle the ratings on a monthly basis at least at first, aside from giving ratings to new hires. It is a lot of work to manage so many people and I want to make sure things are fair. I also will be looking at things from a fan standpoint of sorts. Just rest assured it is a joint effort between me and FX.
I really hope it can work out in the end.
Thanks for the feedback.

This is gonna be pretty good. But I do reckon it would be better if no matter what your ranking is you can still go up or down if you win or lose matches.
