(The camera fades in to Gary Phoenix's locker room. He is holding up the black mask he received, and he is peering into its eye holes with a concerned look on his face)
There have not been too many times in the CRF where ive had to make decisions. But it seems that the time has come. I must either choose to side with mysterious masked men I dont even know, or side with my arch nemesis, Draven. But the thing about Draven's side, is he DOES represent the CRF.
(Booing is heard in the background)
I dont like that as much as any of you watching this. But what happens if these masked men are wrestlers from a different company looking to thwart the CRF? What happens if we side with them, only for them to turn their backs on us? I mean, they come here, dont even show their faces, but yet tell us we MUST choose a side, and everybody against them will be exterminated, and only an evil person deals in absolute. If you ask me, putting on a black mask just to show whose side your on is a little out there. Maybe I am on their side, but I dont want to wear a mask, because it hides me, it hides who I am. Just like someone else hid who I was.
(Chants of exterminate can be loudly heard, even from the backstage area)
If they are looking to exterminate Draven and his men, then so be it. But I am loyal to this fed, and I am looking out for my, and the companys best interest.
These masked men, I have no clue who they are. But every time I think about them, I get a chill that goes down my spine, I get the creeps. That exterminate chant actually annoys me for some reason, not that its repetive, I just have a bad feeling about this. These masked men are keeping me from what I want the most right now, and that is the CRF championship.
But they do have their pluses, and thats what makes me so confused and mixed up right now. The plus side is that one of the masked men could be Fighter-X, I mean, we saw Draven kick him out, and we havnt seen him since. Fighter has been gone for awhile now, and I know he wouldnt just let this situation go. Plus if they do want to take Draven out, I would love to help them do just that. We have seen one of them go after Jake Jones, so me and them apparently share a common enemy. That brings me to my next subject, Magician.
As much as I would have liked to trust Magician, I knew about all the betrayals he has committed in the past. I cant say im all that surprised. But what im getting at is that Magician also had an altercation with one of the masked men. Maybe they knew of his betrayal? I dont know, but we may find out soon enough. Alls I know is that Magician made a huge mistake by siding with Draven, and he will pay dearly for it.
(Gary puts the mask down)
Im going to move onto a completely new subject for now, as I need to ease my troubled mind. Boris Magnum, the CRF Traditional champion. You remind me of myself alot, minus the hair, the ego, and after Mayhem, quite possibly the skill. I could go around saying that I deserve a title match because I beat you, but that wouldnt be fair to you, because I never gave you a heads up. So ill tell you what, how about we have another match at Judgement Day, where if I win, I get a future title shot, money in the bank style, against whoever is the Traditional champion at the time I decide to use it. If that dosnt raise the stakes enough, how about we make this a tables match? We both have nothing to lose.
(Gary picks the mask back up, and stares at it again)
Judgement Day is almost upon us. I must make my decision soon, but I must first make sure I am making the right one. This sint going to be easy, and by the time Judgement Day is over, I will find out if I made the right choice or not. Only time will tell.
(Gary stares at the mask again, as the screen fades to black)
OOC: Boris, if you are up for the challenge, please reply in a different promo, or make your own. If you already have something planned, just mention my challenge, and deny it or something.
